Type of Business
As a franchisee, you will operate a SALADWORKS® restaurant featuring a variety of salads, sandwiches, wraps, panini, soups, bread and beverages for lunch, dinner, catering and take-home.
Corporate Information
We are a Delaware limited liability company formed on March 7, 2008, and maintain our principal place of business at Eight Tower Bridge, Suite 300,161 Washington Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. On March 7, 2008, our predecessor, Saladworks, Inc., assigned to us all of its existing franchise agreements and intellectual property, including its trademarks. As a result, we are the new franchisor of SALADWORKS franchises and began offering franchises on March 7, 2008. We do business only under our corporate name. We own restaurants of the type being franchised, which are typically operated by our affiliate Saladworks Holdings NJ, LLC under a management agreement. We do not engage in or offer franchises in any other line of business.
In addition to franchised locations in the United States, we have a 15-store agreement with a master franchisee in Singapore, and a 10-store agreement with a master franchisee in the United Arab Emirates.
Investment
The total investment necessary to begin operating a SALADWORKS restaurant ranges from $401,066 to $620,610, excluding real property costs. This includes $35,000 to $40,000 that must be paid to the franchisor.
