The total investment necessary to begin operation of a typical 300-room hotel under the Intercontinental® Hotels & Resort brand, excluding land costs and other matters, ranges from $64,091,120 to $94,004,035 ($213,637 to $313,347 per guest room) or more, including between $256,120 and $330,035 or more that must be paid to the franchisor or affiliate.
