Type of Business
As a franchisee, you will operate a business providing affordable, full-service drug and alcohol screening and testing, sample collection for DNA, clinical testing (unless otherwise prohibited by law in your state) Wellness program, and other tests related to our industry, as well as Department of Transportation Program Management for a wide variety of clients, including businesses, schools, government and private individuals.
Corporate Information
We were organized in the State of South Carolina on February 11, 2005 for the purpose of offering franchises for screening for alcohol, drugs and other substances. Our principal business address is 220 North Main St. Suite 325, Greenville, South Carolina 29601, and we do business under our corporate name and under the “ARCpoint” and “ARCpoint Labs” name. From July 2005 until January 2010, we offered franchises under the “AccuDiagnostics” name and mark. We have offered franchises under the ARCpoint mark since January 2010. Our existing franchisees have converted to the ARCpoint name and mark. On November 3, 2011 we filed an application to register the ARCpoint Labs name and are in the process of filing an application to register the ARCpoint Labs mark but will not require existing franchisees to convert to this name and mark, although some have. We do not offer and have not previously offered franchises in any other line of business and we are not engaged in any other line of business. We do not currently own or operate a business of the type being franchised, but our affiliate owns and operates ARCpoint Businesses in both Greenville, and Anderson, South Carolina.
Investment
The total investment necessary to begin operation of an ARCpoint franchised business is between $108,900 and $144,450. This includes $59,000 that must be paid to the Franchisor or its affiliate(s).
The total investment necessary to begin operation of an ARCpoint Area Developer franchised business is between $148,900 and $448,350. This includes between $40,000 and $105,000 that must be paid to the Franchisor or its affiliate(s).
