NIC was incorporated on December 31, 1996 in the State of Delaware. Our Canadian head office address is 5580 Explorer Drive, Suite 600, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada L4W 4Y1. Our U.S. principal business address is located at 16192 Coastal Highway, Lewes, Delaware, 19958.
We have not operated a business of the type being franchised . We began offering franchises in the U.S.A. for a business which offers similar services as your Franchised Business but under the mark Worldsites in 1998. Beginning in March 2001, we offered a franchise for a similar business under the mark MyWorldsites. We no longer offer franchises under either of those marks. We began offering WSI Businesses in September 2001. In December 2003 we sold our roster of all then existing U.S. franchisees who use the Worldsites or MyWorldsites mark and the related franchise agreements to Global Express Exchange Inc., a Delaware corporation. Neither we nor our affiliates have offered franchises in any other line of business.
Investment
The total investment necessary to begin operation of a WSI Business ranges from $60,350 to $166,650. This includes an initial franchise fee that must be paid to us, which is calculated based on the type of license you elect, as follows: (i) $49,700 for a Single Territory License, (ii) $59,700 for a District Territory License, (iii) $69,700 for a Multi-District Territory License, (iv) $84,700 for a National Territory License; (iv) $117,000 for a Multi-National Territory License, and (v) $147,000 for an International Territory License.
