Tasti D-Lite LLC is a Delaware limited liability company formed as Tasti Acquisition LLC on November 30, 2006. They converted under Delaware law to their current name, Tasti D-Lite LLC, on February 8, 2007. They do business under their company name and the names “Tasti D-Lite” and “Planet Smoothie.” Their principal business address is 9311 E. Via De Ventura Scottsdale, AZ 85258. They began offering franchises and area development opportunities under the “Tasti D-Lite” name in February 2008. In March 2012, they also began offering franchises and area development opportunities under the “Planet Smoothie” name. On June 2, 2015, Kahala Brands, Ltd., a Delaware corporation purchased Tasti D-Lite LLC and became their parent company.
Investment
The total investment necessary to begin operation of a Planet Tasti Center is $89,600 to $374,982 depending on the franchise design model you will operate (Traditional Planet Smoothie, Traditional Planet-Tasti, Non-Traditional Tasti D-Lite or Non-Traditional Planet Smoothie). This includes $15,000 to $29,375 that must be paid to the franchisor or its affiliate (excluding possible discounts under the VetFran program).
