They began offering franchises for Papa John’s restaurants as of February 25, 2021. They are a direct and wholly owned subsidiary of Papa John’s International, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“PJI”). PJI was the former franchisor of Papa John’s pizza franchises before PJI transferred all of the existing U.S. franchise agreements and area development agreements to Papa John’s Franchising, LLC on February 22, 2021. PJI offered franchises for Papa John’s restaurants from November 1991 to February 2021.

If you enter into a development agreement, the total development fee deposit will depend on the number of restaurants to be opened under the development agreement and will range from $5,000 to $25,000 per restaurant.
