Investment
The initial investment necessary to begin operation of a Kyochon franchise ranges from $493,500 to $1,038,500. This includes the Initial Franchise Fee of $40,000 and the initial deposit of $20,000 and pre-opening inventory of approximately $10,000 to $20,000 that must be paid to the franchisor or its affiliates.
The franchisor may also offer you a Multi-Unit Agreement granting a right to open at minimum five or more additional stores for an additional investment that will depend on the development area, the number of stores and other special circumstances. The total investment necessary to begin operation as franchisee under a Multi-Unit Agreement is from $2,467,500 to $5,192,500 (assuming a minimum of 5 stores and up to 10 stores (although not the maximum), including the $40,000 that must be paid to the franchisor or its affiliate. Subject to the applicable state laws and franchisor’s policies, strategies, and/or discretion, we may offer only a Multi-Unit Agreement in certain territories.
