Corporate Information
Hertz® System, Inc., a Delaware corporation, was formed on January 19, 1925. They maintain their principal place of business at 8501 Williams Road, Estero, Florida 33928. Their parent company, The Hertz® Corporation was incorporated in Delaware in 1967 and is their sole shareholder.


Investment
The total investment necessary to begin operation of a new Hertz® Business (excluding real estate) is $564,300 to $12,539,000. For new franchisees, this includes $25,000 to $100,000 that must be paid to the Franchisor or its affiliates. For any franchisee that is purchasing from the Parent or its affiliates the assets of certain existing car renting business locations, the investment may include a franchise fee of several hundred thousand dollars or more that must be paid to the Franchisor or its affiliates.
