If you and the franchisor enter into an Area Development Agreement under which you would agree to acquire franchises to develop multiple Fitness 19-branded fitness clubs, the total investment necessary under the Area Development Agreement is $10,000 multiplied by the number of franchises you agree to acquire. The total investment necessary under the Area Development Agreement is $20,000 to $50,000 (based on a 2 to 5 unit development commitment, but depending on the actual number of Fitness 19-branded fitness clubs you agree to develop), the entire amount of which must be paid to franchisor (but see above for the investment related to the development of a franchised business).
