This disclosure document provides information regarding the operation of a quick service, fast casual restaurant, which specializes in the sale of burritos, tacos, quesadillas, salads, and other California-Mexican style foods, and other additional products that the franchisor may periodically designate.

Investment
The total investment necessary to begin operation of a franchised California Tortilla Restaurant ranges from $443,700 to $836,500. This includes $40,000 – $50,000 that must be paid to the franchisor or affiliate. If you sign an Area Development Agreement to develop multiple Restaurants in a specified area, you must also pay the franchisor a development fee that will depend on the number of Restaurants that you develop (which varies, from $40,000 if you commit to only one franchise, to $25,000 per franchise is you commit to five or more franchises). The franchisor does not require a commitment of a minimum number of Restaurants to enter into an Area Development Agreement. Therefore, the total investment necessary to begin operations of a franchised California Tortilla Restaurant under an Area Development Agreement will also range from $443,700 to $836,500, plus the additional development fee, based on the number of Restaurants that you commit to develop (if it is more than one Restaurant). This includes $40,000 – $125,000 that must be paid to the franchisor or affiliate for Development Fees, and $10,000 that may, in some instances, be paid to the franchisor or affiliate for Grand Opening Advertising Fees.
